Reset WSL password - Windows Subsystem for Linux

The problem is easy; not everyone can remember all the passwords XD

The solution is easy too;

  1. first you need to get to PowerShell (Command prompt should word too)

  2. change default user in your wsl

    debian config --default-user root

  3. get to your wsl

    debian.exe

  4. change your user password a normal way

    passwd <ur-username>

  5. Change default user back to your username

    debian config --default-user <ur-username>

debian here because I use debian obviously, but it could be ubuntu, kali, openSUSE-42, or whatever you are using.
